The foundation is the legal entity of four institutes in the Canton of Thurgau:
Institute of Cell Biology and Immunology Thurgau (BITG) in Kreuzlingen
Institut für Werkstoffsystemtechnik Thurgau (WITG) in Tägerwilen
Thurgauer Wirtschaftsinstitut (TWI) in Kreuzlingen
Thurgau Institute for Digital Transformation (TIDIT) in Kreuzlingen
The foundation for Science and Research of the Canton of Thurgau:
- is supported by the Canton Thurgau
- promotes scientific activities within the Canton Thurgau or in its interest
- serves the transfer of knowledge and technology
- seeks and maintains contact and cooperation with universities - including across borders
- supports scientific projects and events
- collaborates with partners from business and public administration
- creates high-quality jobs in the canton Thurgau
